ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ మైదానాలు (Plains in Andhra Pradesh)

 v ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ లో గల మైదానం --> కోస్తా తీర మైదానం.

v తూర్పు తీర మైదానం ఉత్తరాన ఉన్న శ్రీకాకుళం నుంచి దక్షిణాన ఉన్న నెల్లూరు జిల్లా వరకు విస్తరించి ఉంది. 

v ఈ మైదానంలో అవక్షేపాల వల్ల ఏర్పడిన ఒండ్రునేలలు ఉండటం వల్ల ఈ ప్రాంతాలు వ్యవసాయం లో అధిక ప్రాధాన్యతను సంతరించుకున్నాయి.

v ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ లోని రెండు ప్రధాన నదులైన గోదావరి, కృష్ణా నదులు పెద్ద డెల్టా మైదానాన్ని ఏర్పాటు చేస్తున్నాయి.

v గోదావరి, కృష్ణా నదులు నిరంతరాయంగా అవక్షేపాలను మేటవేయటం వల్ల ఈ డెల్టా మైదానం ఏర్పడింది.

v గుంటూరు, కృష్ణ, ఉభయగోదావరి జిల్లాలు సారవంతమైన నేలలకి, మరియు చెరకు, వరి, పసుపు, మిర్చి పంటలకు ప్రసిద్ధి.

v గుంటూరు జిల్లాలోని మెట్ట ప్రాంతాలలో కల నల్ల రేగడి నేలలు మిరప, ప్రత్తి పంటలకు ప్రసిద్ధి.

v ఈ డెల్టా ప్రాంతాన్ని దక్షిణ భారత దేశపు ధాన్యాగారంగా పిలుస్తారు.

v ఈ మైదాన ప్రాంతం లో ప్రసిద్ధి చెందిన కొల్లేరు సరస్సు (మంచినీటి సరస్సు), పులికాట్ సరస్సు (ఉప్పునీటి సరస్సు) ఉన్నాయి.

v కొల్లేరు సరస్సు పశ్చిమ గోదావరి జిల్లాలోనూ, పులికాట్ సరస్సు ఎస్.పి.ఎస్.ర్ నెల్లూరు జిల్లాలోనూ కలవు.

RIVETING PROCESS

          Rivets are used to fasten permanently two or more plates or metal. The joints which are made by rivets are called “Riveted Joints”.

          The process of making another rivet-head, after the rivet is placed in the hole previously drilled (or) punched through the plates, is called “Riveting”.

RIVETED JOITS -- INTRODUCTION

          Rivets are used to fasten permanently two or more plates or metal. The joints which are made by rivets are called “Riveted Joints”. Plates which are jointed together by means of a riveted jointed cannot be removed without chipping-off rivet heads from one side of the joint.

A rivet consists of the following: 

        (i) a head,

        (ii) cylindrical body or shank,

        (iii) slightly tapered tail.

Rivets are generally made of C-30 metal. A rivet is specified by the diameter of the shank.
